Model and selection of hydraulic breaker
1) The number in the hydraulic model may indicate the weight of the excavator or the bucket capacity, or the weight of the breaker, or the diameter of the chisels, or the impact energy of the hammer. In most cases, a number does not correspond to its meaning one by one. It is often a range of numbers. And sometimes the parameters of the hammer have changed, but the model is still the same, which makes the meaning of the model number more fuzzy. What’s more, users should pay more attention to the inconsistency between the data and the actual data.
2) For excavator users, the matching of hydraulic breaker and excavator is mainly about the matching of weight and the checking of dynamic matching. For other load-bearing machines, dynamic matching is as important as weight matching. It is also very reliable to select hydraulic breakers according to the experience of other users.
Precautions for breaking hammer operation
Before the cab, install the debris protective cover device to prevent damage caused by flying debris during operation.
During the operation, all on-site personnel, including the excavator driver, must wear earplugs and masks.
The driver shall operate the hydraulic breaker on the seat, and the breaker can only be used when the excavator / loader and the breaker are in normal condition.
If someone enters the dangerous area, the operation of the breaker shall be stopped immediately; because compared with the excavation operation, when the hammer is working, the personnel are easily hit by the flying fragments. When working with a crushing hammer, the excavator / loader shall be operated in accordance with the safe operation regulations of the manufacturer of the excavator / loader. Make sure to use the broken hammer installed in good condition and debugged normally.
Correct working mode of hydraulic breaker
1) Proper breakdown force
In order to break effectively, the breaker shall be applied with appropriate breaking force. If the breakdown force is not enough, the impact energy of the piston will not be able to effectively break the stone; in this way, the reaction force of the impact force will be transmitted to the body of the breaker, the arm of the excavator / loader and other parts, so as to damage these parts.
On the other hand, when the excavator / loader boom is lifted, if the breakdown force is too large and the crushing operation is carried out, the machine may suddenly tilt at the moment of the crushed stone, the breaker is violent, and the breaker will hit the stone violently, which will cause damage to the crushing hammer. In this case, the striking operation will be carried out, and the vibration will also be transmitted to the crawler and wheel of the excavator, so the operation under this condition should be avoided.Therefore, during the striking operation, pay attention to the breaking force of the breaker at all times, and do not operate when the breaking force is not suitable.
2) Direction of breakdown
The direction of breakdown shall be in line with the steel brazing. When the steel drill breaks the rock, try to keep the vertical direction for operation. If the hammering direction is inclined, the steel drill may slip during hammering operation, causing the steel drill and piston to break or get stuck. Therefore, when carrying out crushing operation, the breakdown point should be selected, so that the hammering stability of the steel drill can be ensured.
